How to start writing..

It has been almost 11 or 12 years , when I was first introduced to world of internet by my cousin n friend Arun. My activities with the internet being circling around the routine activities of checking mails and looking for some information needed for my studies n then at job.
During the last few years blogging has started to grow as an effective medium for casual and business communication.Even then a blog did not arouse much interest in me, until a day when I came across a blog maintained by a firend. It was enlightening. The way he expressed himself in words; which on normal conversation I would have never shown the patience to listen.

As an individual when ever I felt good or bad about something happening around my world, a habit developed of discussing, asserting , arguing, disagreeing ,fighting and a breakup for the day...most of the time my poor father was the sufferer.

Hence the very idea of sharing my thoughts in a blog which can give as much loudness as possible was encouraging..
So here I go...

    i guess, except for the last 2 yrs when distance has drawn some boundaries in our friendship, i have seen you transform and groom to the current Deepu. You are a talented young 'gentleman' of our generation and one among the few best friends i had till date. Keep up all the good work and all the best. Keep writing... you are good in it.

ഏതാണ്ട് ഒരു മുപ്പത്തഞ്ച് വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു മുൻപ് വീട്ടിൽ ഒരു പൂച്ചയെ വളർത്തിയിരുന്നു.. വെള്ളയും കറുപ്പും മഞ്ഞയും ചാരവും തുടങ്ങി പൂച്ചകൾക്കുള്ള എല്ലാ നിറവും അവിടെയിവിടെയായി ഈ പൂച്ചക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.. പൂച്ചയെ വളർത്തിയിരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ പൂച്ച വീട്ടിൽ വന്നു കയറിയതാണ് .. പേരൊന്നും ഇല്ല , ആഹാരം കൊടുക്കാറില്ല.. അമ്മയറിയാതെ ഞാനും അനിയനും എന്തെങ്കിലും കൊടുക്കുന്നതും പൂച്ച ഞങ്ങളുടെ വീട്ടിൽ കിടക്കുന്നതും മാത്രം ആണ് വളർത്തൽ . ചില്ലറ ഉപദ്രവങ്ങൾ അല്ലാതെ ഞങ്ങൾ പൂച്ചക്കായി പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ഒന്നും ചെയ്തതായി ഓർമ്മയില്ല .. എപ്പോഴോ പൂച്ചയെ അടുത്ത വീട്ടിലെ കിണറു കാണിച്ചതോർമ്മയുണ്ട്.. പിന്നെ ആരൊക്കെയോ ചേർന്ന് പൂച്ചയെ കിണറ്റിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്തെത്തിച്ചു , ജീവനോടെ തന്നെ..  ഞങ്ങളുടെ ബാല്യകാലത്തെ സന്തോഷകരമായ ഓർമ്മകളിൽ ആ ജീവിക്ക് ഒരു സ്ഥാനമുണ്ട്..  അമ്മയ്ക്ക് മൃഗങ്ങളെ വളർത്തുന്നതിനോടു വലിയ താത്പര്യമില്ലായിരുന്നു. ഒരു പട്ടിയെ വളർത്താമെന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ രണ്ടു കുട്ടികളെ വളർത്താൻ സമയം തികയുന്നില്ല എന്ന് അമ്മ പറയും .. 3 - 4 വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു മുൻപ് ഞാനും അനിയനുമൊക്കെ കുടുംബവുമായി മാറിത്താമസിച്ച ശേഷം വീട്ടിൽ ഒരു പട്ടി വന്നു കയറി....

Living here for 29 years and working for over 6 years, I have lately realized that the life here is getting different, tougher,insecure for several reasons some within our control and more outside our control..same is happening in all parts of Kerala, as informed by some of my friends living across the state. This is the era of development, India is aiming to become an economic superpower.World attention is on us. Our GDP growth is one of the highest in the world.
